Oral Defense Meeting for Frito Lay Investigation by Competition Authority Scheduled for February 4th

The oral defense meeting in the investigation conducted by the Competition Authority regarding Frito Lay Food Industry and Trade Inc. will take place on February 4.

The statement said: "The investigation to determine whether Frito Lay Food Industry and Trade Inc. has violated the Law No. 4054 on the Protection of Competition by hindering the activities of its competitors at retail points has reached the oral defense stage. The aforementioned oral defense meeting will be held on February 4, 2025, at 10:30 AM.

Complaints and third parties wishing to participate in the meeting to speak are required to submit a petition containing information and documents revealing their interests related to the subject of the meeting to the Competition Authority by the end of the working hours on January 28, 2025, in accordance with the ‘Notification on Oral Defense Meetings Conducted Before the Competition Authority.’

Those who wish to attend the oral defense meeting as listeners will be able to follow the meeting online. For this purpose, the participation form must be completed in accordance with the guidelines on the Competition Authority's website no later than half an hour before the meeting time."
