Erdogan: We Set a Record for Export Figures in 2024, the Highest in the Republic's History

In a speech delivered during the program for the announcement of the 2024 export figures, President Erdoğan stated, “We achieved a record in the export figures throughout the year, marking the highest level in the history of the Republic. Our merchandise exports for 2024 increased by 2.5% compared to 2023, reaching 262 billion dollars.”

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan attended the program held at the Haliç Congress Center for the announcement of the 2024 export figures. Speaking to the participants, President Erdoğan said, “In December 2024, our exports reached 23.5 billion dollars, with an increase of 2.2%. Thus, we broke the monthly export record in December. Our imports rose by 11.1% to 32.3 billion dollars. We set a record in export figures for the entire year in the history of the Republic. Our merchandise exports for 2024 increased by 2.5% compared to 2023, reaching 262 billion dollars. Additionally, in 12 out of the last 19 months, we broke the monthly export record. In the period from January to December 2024, 31 of our provinces exported over one billion dollars, while 54 provinces increased their exports.”
