Commenting on the matter, Sabancı Holding CEO Cenk Alper stated, "The path to achieving success in sustainability goals goes through collaboration and partnership. It is essential to leverage each other's experiences, share our best practices and roadmaps, and enhance our impact in these global organizations to seek better together. When we became a member of WBCSD in October 2020, we were the only Turkish member at that time. Now, we are delighted to represent the Turkish business community in the Executive Committee, which is responsible for overseeing the Council’s strategy and monitoring the efficiency of its activities. This role will also be a significant supporter of our Community Promise, where we stated, ‘We connect Turkey and the world with pioneering initiatives for a sustainable life,’” he expressed.
