Istanbul Stock Exchange Kicks Off the Day with Gains: Which Stocks Rose the Most at Opening?
The BIST 100 index started the day with an increase of 0.29%, reaching 9,990.42 points.
The BIST 100 index closed the previous day's trading with a rise of 1.33%, settling at 9,961.34 points. During the day, the index saw a low of 9,826.97 and a high of 9,961.34, with a daily trading volume recorded at 105.78 billion TL. This trading volume accounted for 76.1% of the total volume.
After starting positively on the last trading day of the week, the BIST 100 index gained momentum following inflation data that was released below expectations, rising over 1% in early transactions and reaching up to 10,064 points.
While positive momentum continued across the BIST, the sports index stood out by starting the day with a 5% increase. Subsequently, the transportation and holding indexes were among the sectors that rose the most at the opening. The paper, insurance, and electricity sectors were observed to start the day flat.

In general at Borsa Istanbul, SANFM, QNBTR, and HEDEF were the stocks that rose the most at the opening. Meanwhile, HATEK, VANGD, and RODRG shares were recorded as the stocks with the most significant decline, dropping nearly 5%.
In the domestic currency market, the dollar/TL is trading at around 35.4, with an increase of 0.15%. The euro/TL has risen by 0.33% to 36.4, and the gram gold is showing flat movement at around 3,018 TL in the morning hours.
Internationally, Asian indexes are preparing to close the week mixed with a downward trend. Yesterday, European indexes closed in positive territory, while U.S. indexes were in the negative. European and U.S. futures indexes have a positive outlook in the morning hours.
