Digital Asset Brokerage FalconX Acquires Arbelos Markets

Forex - Digital asset brokerage firm FalconX has acquired Arbelos Markets, a derivatives initiative launched in 2023. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. According to a report by Bloomberg News citing sources who wished to remain anonymous, the transaction is expected to be financed through a combination of cash and FalconX shares. FalconX CEO Raghu Yarlagadda stated, "By combining Arbelos's systematic trading expertise with FalconX's broad client base, strong balance sheet, and regulatory leadership, we are uniquely positioned to meet the growing demand for complex trading strategies and customized products." In October, Yarlagadda had mentioned that he anticipated a "wave of consolidation" in the industry and that the company was actively seeking acquisition targets.
