Which Stocks Gained the Most on Borsa Istanbul Today?

The BIST 100 index moved with upward momentum throughout the day following volatility in the early hours. After a positive opening, the BIST 100 quickly rose towards 9,930 points, but this increase faced selling pressure, causing the index to find support around 9,830 points and continue its upward movement. In the last hour, the BIST 100 showed a 1% increase, with the resistance point for the day located at the 9,930 points level. The BIST 30 saw an increase of about 1.5% today, while the non-BIST 100 index remained calmer with a half-point rise.

Among sector indices, the sports sector stood out with a 5% increase, while the banking sector, which contributed to the rise of the index, saw a 3% gain. The insurance, food, and IT sectors, on the other hand, were observed to be in decline as the market approached the close.

In the Istanbul Stock Exchange’s sports stocks, TSPOR and BJKAS, along with KRSTL shares, reached their ceiling price and ranked among the top gainers. Following TKFEN and LIDER in the BIST 100 stocks, HTTBT was among the biggest losers today.

In the domestic foreign exchange market, the dollar/TL saw a partial decline of 0.1%, dropping to 35.31. The euro/TL traded at 36.53 with a 0.2% decrease, while gram gold rose by about 0.8% to reach 3,000 TL.

In international markets, European indices displayed a positive trend as they approached closing. The US stock market also started the day in positive territory. According to the current outlook, the BIST 100 is emerging as the index performing with greater gains compared to European indices today.
