Central Bank of Turkey's Net Reserves Increased by $1.8 Billion in One Week

Forex - The net reserves of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey (CBRT) increased by 1 billion 805 million dollars in the past week. According to CBRT's weekly data, net international reserves, which stood at 61 billion 811 million dollars as of December 20, rose to 63 billion 616 million dollars during the week. The CBRT also announced its official reserve assets for the same period. Accordingly, official reserve assets decreased from 156.2 billion dollars in the previous week to 155.1 billion dollars. Of these reserves, 83.4 billion dollars are composed of foreign currency assets, 142 million dollars of the IMF reserve position, 7.2 billion dollars of SDR, and 64.3 billion dollars of gold assets.
