Marmarabirlik to Disburse 200 Million TL to Shareholders Tomorrow

Forex - Marmarabirlik will make the fifth tranche payment of 200 million TL to its partners on January 3, 2025.

In a statement, it was announced: "Approaching the end of the 2024/2025 business year product procurement campaign, Marmarabirlik will make a payment of 200 million TL to its partners on January 3, 2025. This payment will correspond to 50% of the product prices delivered between December 14 and December 27. On Friday, January 3, 2025 (tomorrow), partners will receive this payment through Ziraat Bank ATM machines. With this payment, a total of 1 billion 441 million TL will have been disbursed to partners. Since the start of purchases on October 21, 2024, a total of 55,000 tons of products have been procured as of today (including January 2, 2025).

The Chairman of the Board, Hidamet Asa, stated that purchases are continuing in all cooperative regions, but that some cooperatives are nearing the end of their procurement. He noted that the harvest would continue until January 15-20, 2025, and emphasized that product price payments have been deposited into partners' accounts according to the previously announced schedule. Chairman Asa stated, “As we reach the end of the harvest period for the 2024/2025 business year, the amount of product procured and the payments made to producers demonstrate the strength of Marmarabirlik. Marmarabirlik has continued to stand by the producer in such a challenging year when the highest harvest in the history of the Republic has occurred, achieving three times the harvest of the previous year.”
