Applications Open for the New Term of the Garanti BBVA Partners Tech Program

The application period for the 9th term of the Garanti BBVA Partners Tech Program, initiated by Garanti BBVA to support early-stage ventures with investment appeal and growth potential, has begun. Entrepreneurs operating in the verticals of generative artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, payment systems, and sustainability can apply to the Garanti BBVA Partners Tech Program until January 31, 2025, through https://www.garantibbvapartners.com/.

According to the evaluation committee's results, the ventures accepted into the program are expected to have completed the minimum viable product (MVP) stage in the areas of generative artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, payment systems, and sustainability, operated for at least two years, and possess high market potential, a scalable business model, and a strong revenue model. Accepted ventures will benefit from a six-month program that includes office space, tailored mentorship, collaboration opportunities with Garanti BBVA, Garanti BBVA Technology, and subsidiaries, advertising/PR support, business and product consulting, training and seminars, as well as advantageous banking products and services.

Providing information on the matter, Garanti BBVA’s Deputy General Manager Sibel Kaya stated, “We have long embraced the entrepreneurship area, which we strategically prioritize, in a holistic framework. The continuous investment in technology by a bank like us necessitates close contact with technology-driven entrepreneurs who develop many new and different products and services. Since 2015, within the framework of the Garanti BBVA Partners Acceleration Program, we have been supporting technology-driven ventures with rapid and high growth potential, contributing to their expansion into global markets. The total investment received by the ventures participating in our program, which has supported nearly 60 startups, has reached 10 million dollars. With the Garanti BBVA Partners Tech Program we launched last year, we aimed to provide more support to rapidly growing technology-driven ventures and share the knowledge and experience possessed by our Bank. We recently concluded a productive and educational six-month collaboration with five ventures operating in different verticals. We thank the five ventures that graduated from the program. This year, we have included the generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) vertical, which is transforming many industries today. Generative AI not only optimizes existing processes but also creates entirely new business models and lifestyles. This is where new generation ventures draw their inspiration: to envision the untried, the new, the different, and to design the future with the power of artificial intelligence; to think without limits and to achieve 'disruptive innovations'… As a Bank that sees innovation as a core value, our role here, through the program we implement, is to provide the right environment for ventures to achieve their dreams and to collaboratively develop smarter, more effective, and sustainable solutions in all areas of life. From this standpoint, we believe we will experience an exciting period of collaboration with new ventures that will join the program in 2025.

We are looking forward to new applications from entrepreneurs operating in the fields of generative artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, payment systems, and sustainability until January 31, 2025. We will continue to grow the entrepreneurship ecosystem with all our efforts, provide the support entrepreneurs need in the new world order, and encourage their proliferation.”
