The Environmental Impact Assessment Process for Çimsa's Kaolin Quarry Capacity Expansion and Crushing-Sieving Facility Project Has Begun

The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process has begun for the Kaolin Quarry Capacity Increase and Crushing-Screening Facility project planned by Çimsa.

In a statement regarding the subject on the website of the General Directorate of Environmental Impact Assessment, Permit, and Inspection, the following information was provided:

"The project concerning the Kaolin Quarry Capacity Increase and Crushing-Screening Facility with License Number 5119, planned to be carried out by ÇİMSA ÇİMENTO SAN. VE TİC. A.Ş., located in the Düvertepe neighborhood of Sındırgı district, Balıkesir province, has been examined in accordance with Article 16 of the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulation. The EIA process for the project has begun."
