The Environmental Impact Assessment Process for Emlak Konut GYO's Social Housing Project in Esenler, Istanbul Has Begun

The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process for the Istanbul Esenler North Reserve Area Social Housing project planned by Emlak Konut (IS:EKGYO) has begun.

An announcement regarding the matter on the website of the General Directorate of Environmental Impact Assessment, Permit, and Supervision provided the following information: "The project proposed by EMLAK KONUT GAYRİMENKUL YATIRIM ORTAKLIĞI A.Ş. is located in ESENLER district of ISTANBUL, ATIŞALANI NEIGHBORHOOD, parcels 2 of 1676, 1 of 1681, 1 of 1682, 1 of 1683, and 2 of 1684 (264,400.89 m2). This project involves the construction of 4156 housing units and 140 commercial spaces. The EIA application submitted to the Governorship of ISTANBUL has been reviewed in accordance with Article 16 of the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulation, and the EIA process for the project has commenced."
