The eagerly awaited guidance will provide a method for hydrogen produced through nuclear energy to access these credits. However, the specifics of this plan have not yet been disclosed.

Whether existing nuclear plants qualify for hydrogen subsidies has been a contentious issue for the rule. Environmentalists argue that these advantages should only be granted to hydrogen produced from new clean energy sources.

One of the sources indicated that the guidance would likely be released on Friday. The U.S. Treasury has not yet commented on this matter.
