Cevdet Yılmaz: "Inflation Decline Will Continue, the Goal is Lasting Social Welfare"

Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz stated that the declining trend in inflation will continue in 2024. In his New Year message shared on social media, Yılmaz emphasized that Turkey will experience a year of resolutely continuing its policies of achievements and services.

Yılmaz expressed that efforts to elevate the country’s standards of achievements and services in line with President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's vision will continue, saying, "The decrease in inflation that began this year will also continue next year." He indicated that they aim to ensure inclusive growth in a stable environment and that they will work for lasting social welfare.

Priority will be given to critical areas Yılmaz mentioned that priority will be given to critical areas such as food, energy, logistics, and housing. Education, health, justice, and security will also emerge as indispensable sectors. He highlighted that investments in these important sectors will raise the country's social and economic welfare levels and noted that stability will be key during this process.

He emphasized their commitment to contributing to peace and stability in foreign policy through effective diplomacy, aiming to support peace and stability in Syria, end the crimes against humanity in Gaza, and resolve international conflicts such as Ukraine-Russia.

Realistic and results-oriented policies will be implemented Yılmaz stated that they will work to strengthen and establish Turkey's internal front, saying, "We will reinforce our brotherhood on the path to a terrorism-free Turkey." He stressed that there will be efforts made day and night for citizens in all 81 provinces, working with a team spirit.

Yılmaz noted that they will develop realistic and results-oriented policies, avoiding unnecessary polemics and populist rhetoric. He mentioned that they will continue to shape the country's future with strong leadership and effective coordination, concluding his remarks by wishing for the New Year to bring peace, tranquility, and prosperity.
