The Number of Organized Industrial Zones in Turkey Reaches 366

The Minister of Industry and Technology, Mehmet Fatih Kacır, announced on the last day of 2024 that the number of Organized Industrial Zones (OIZ) in the country has increased to 366 with the addition of the Diyarbakır Silvan Food and Agricultural Industry Specialized OIZ and the Trabzon Araklı Ready-Made Clothing/Textile Specialized OIZ.

In a post on social media platform X, Minister Kacır stated, "We continue to take steps that will enhance Turkey's production power even on the last day of the year. We have brought the Diyarbakır Silvan Food and Agricultural Industry Specialized OIZ and the Trabzon Araklı Ready-Made Clothing/Textile Specialized OIZ to our country. With our new OIZs, we have created a planned industrial area of approximately 3 million square meters, raising our total OIZ count to 366. May our new industrial zones be beneficial for our nation and our cities. From Edirne to Diyarbakır, from Trabzon to Antalya, we are determined to elevate our country with comprehensive development."
