Russia's Missile and Drone Strikes Hit Multiple Targets, Including Kiev

Forex - Russia launched airstrikes on Ukraine this morning, hitting the capital and other regions with numerous missiles and drones. The Ukrainian Air Force reported a ballistic missile threat at 3:00 AM, and within minutes, at least two explosion sounds were heard in Kyiv.

Another missile alarm was issued at 8:00 AM, followed by at least one explosion in the city. Local authorities stated that debris from a missile fell in the Darnytskyi district of the capital, and there were no reports of casualties or damage.

Officials in the northeastern Sumy region reported attacks near the city of Shostka, with Mayor Mykola Noha stating that 12 residential buildings as well as two educational facilities were damaged. Noha mentioned that some "social infrastructure objects" were destroyed but did not provide further details.

The Air Force also reported that missiles and drones targeted other regions of Ukraine.
