Energy Import Bill Increased by 8.8% in November
In November, Turkey's energy import bill increased by 8.8% compared to the same month last year. According to the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), the import value of mineral fuels, mineral oils and products obtained from their distillation, bituminous substances, and mineral waxes amounted to 5 billion 735 million 866 thousand dollars last month. In the same month of 2023, the import bill was at the level of 5 billion 272 million 949 thousand dollars. In the first 11 months of the year, energy imports decreased by 5.9% to 58 billion 785 million 804 thousand dollars.
