Samsung Electronics Becomes the Largest Shareholder of South Korea's Rainbow Robotics

Foreks - Rainbow Robotics announced that Samsung Electronics has become the largest shareholder of the company. The statement indicated that Samsung, which had previously invested in the robotics company, recently acquired shares valued at 267 billion won. In a separate announcement, Samsung stated that it has established a Future Robotics Office that reports directly to the CEO as part of the acquisition. Prior to the agreement, Samsung Electronics was the second largest shareholder of Rainbow Robotics, holding 14.71% of the company, or approximately 2.85 million shares.
