Deadline Extended for Registration in the National Vehicle Identification System to January 31, 2025

The registration deadline for the National Vehicle Identification System (UTTS) has been extended to January 31, 2025. The amendment to the "Implementation General Communiqué of the National Vehicle Identification System" published by the Revenue Administration of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance has been released in the Official Gazette. Accordingly, the obligation for vehicle owners within the system and fuel station operators to register in the system and equip their vehicles and stations with the necessary equipment by December 31, 2024, has been renewed to January 31, 2025. Those who have usage obligations for TTO, TTB, and other equipment will be able to start using the mentioned equipment by installing or having it installed by April 30, 2025, provided that they complete the necessary application and registration procedures at utts.gov.tr by the specified date.
