Suzuki, the Japanese automotive giant, has added another prestigious award to its accolades with the new Swift model. The new Swift, which stands out with its agile, technological, and colorful design and is available for sale in our country, has been awarded the 2025 RJC Car of the Year by the Japan Automotive Researchers and Journalists Conference (RJC). Inheriting the stylish design and sporty driving performance from its predecessor, the new Swift was the jurors' first choice. The RJC Car of the Year jury is composed of a total of 40 members, including independent automotive researchers and journalists, and the competing vehicles were evaluated in three categories.
As one of the world's largest automotive manufacturers, Suzuki continues to attract attention with its models developed under a seamless and innovative production principle. In this context, the new Swift, which has also started sales in our country, has been awarded the 2025 RJC Car of the Year by the RJC. The award includes both domestic and imported passenger cars in Japan, with the top awards presented in three categories: "Japanese Car Category," "Imported Car Category," and "Technology Category."
The jury praised the fourth-generation Swift for its new exterior design, advanced 1.2-liter hybrid engine, and the superior driving dynamics provided by the lightweight yet robust 'HEARTECT' platform, which features recalibrated suspension. Additionally, it is noteworthy that all fourth-generation Swift models offer the best-in-class safety features as standard. The new Swift stands out by offering consumers an advanced and intelligent option with its sharp design, enhanced safety features, and vibrant, efficient, and agile driving characteristics that redefine daily mobility. While maintaining the characteristic design foundations of its predecessors, it achieves a very powerful appearance alongside aerodynamic capability and efficiency, and has won the Car of the Year award in the Japanese Cars category.
