Bolat: We Will Continue to Work in Close Coordination with Our Business Community
The Minister of Trade, Ömer Bolat, stated that they have inaugurated the Chemical Technology Center Project, which has been completed in Gebze and will be a first in Turkey.
Explaining the matter, Bolat said: "Today, we have inaugurated the Chemical Technology Center Project, which has been completed in Gebze, along with the Minister of Industry and Technology, Fatih Kacır, AK Party Bursa Deputy and Chairman of the Industry, Trade, Energy, Natural Resources, Information and Technology Commission, Mustafa Varank, and significant representatives from our sector.
The Chemical Technology Center project will significantly contribute to the development of testing, analysis, and certification infrastructure in our country and will provide effective services in many areas. A total of 209 different tests will be conducted within our center, and 100 tests will be accredited. This will enable some tests to be conducted with domestic facilities and will also contribute to our country's savings.
As the Ministry of Trade, we will continue to support projects like the Chemical Technology Center in collaboration with İKMİB and our sector representatives. Our fundamental goal as a government is to increase value-added production and ensure innovation, investment, production, export, employment, and fair distribution. In this regard, we will continue to work in close coordination with our ministries, relevant institutions, and the business world.
I hope our KTM project, implemented by İKMİB, will be beneficial and I would like to thank everyone who contributed."
