The Environmental Impact Assessment Report for Akfen Electricity's Van Solar Power Project is Now Open for Review

The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Report for the Van Solar Power Plant project planned by Akfen Electricity has been opened for public review.

The announcement on the website of the General Directorate of Environmental Impact Assessment, Permission and Supervision provided the following information:

"The EIA Report prepared for the Van Solar Power Plant (66 MWm / 50 MWe - 73.62 ha) and Electrical Storage Facility (50 MWe / 120 MWh) project, planned to be constructed by Akfen Electricity Wholesale Sales Inc. in the Edremit (Gümüşdere) district of VAN Province, has been finalized by the Examination and Evaluation Commission (EEC) and is now open for public comments and suggestions for ten (10) calendar days in accordance with Article 14, paragraph (1) of the EIA Regulation at the Ministry and the Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change. The opinions submitted to the Ministry/Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change will be taken into consideration during the decision-making process regarding the project. During this period, comments and suggestions can be submitted to the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change or the Provincial Directorates of Environment and Urbanization in VAN."
