TPAO Seeks Extension for Four Oil Exploration Licenses

Forex - Türkiye Petrolleri Anonim Ortaklığı (TPAO) has applied for an extension of four oil exploration licenses. Announcements related to this issue were published in the Official Gazette by the General Directorate of Mining and Petroleum Affairs (MAPEG) of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources. Accordingly, TPAO submitted an application on December 23, 2024, to extend the duration of four oil exploration licenses, which are set to expire on March 7, 2025, for an additional two years under the force majeure provisions.
