Public Review Opened for Tüpraş's Sustainable Aviation Fuel Production Facility Project Environmental Impact Report

Foreks - The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Report related to the planned Carbon Emission Reduction Sustainable Aviation Fuel Production Facility project by Tüpraş (IS:TUPRS) has been opened for public review.

In a statement on the website of the General Directorate of Environmental Impact Assessment, Permit and Inspection, the following information was provided:

"The EIA Report prepared for the Sustainable Aviation Fuel Production Facility (including Storage Tanks) project, planned to be established by Türkiye Petrol Rafinerileri A.Ş. İzmir Refinery in the Aliağa district of İzmir province, has been reviewed and finalized by the Review and Evaluation Commission (İDK). The report has been opened for public comments and suggestions for ten (10) calendar days at the Ministry and the Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change within the context of Article 14 (1) of the EIA Regulation. The opinions submitted to the Ministry/Provincial Directorate of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change will be taken into consideration in the decision-making process regarding the project. During this process, opinions and suggestions can be submitted to the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change or the İzmir Provincial Directorate of Environment and Urbanization."
