These amounts declared by the Minister of Labor and Social Security, Vedat Işıkhan, raise the gross minimum wage to 26,002 lira and the net minimum wage to 22,104 lira. Along with this change, the state's support for employers for each minimum wage earner has also increased from 700 lira to 1,000 lira. This increase in minimum wage support aims to somewhat alleviate the financial burdens on employers.

Other effects of the new minimum wage With the new minimum wage taking effect in 2025, there will also be changes in various economic items. New regulations will be implemented in many areas, ranging from unemployment benefits to General Health Insurance (GSS) premiums, seniority compensation, and internship wages. Moreover, the difference between the gross and net minimum wage has been allocated as 3,640.77 lira for social security premiums and 260.06 lira for unemployment insurance premiums.
