Enerjisa Opens Energy Technology and Impact Center
Foreks - With projects and services that place human and technology at the center, Enerjisa Enerji (IS:ENJSA) continues to make a difference through the new Enerjisa Energy Technology and Impact Center, which has provided innovation and entrepreneurship training to 750 university students to date.
As part of the Sabancı Youth Mobilization initiated by the Sabancı Group with the vision of transforming brain drain into brain gain, Enerjisa Enerji supports young people’s access to innovation and technology at its Enerjisa Energy Technology and Impact Center located within the digitally equipped and interactive Customer Service Center in Ankara Söğütözü.
The Sabancı Youth Mobilization, led by the Sabancı Group, was launched to uncover the innovation and entrepreneurship potential of university students. One of the projects under this initiative focuses on digital transformation and innovative applications in the energy sector, also supporting many entrepreneurs in recent years.
The aim is to transform brain drain into brain gain. As part of the Sabancı Youth Mobilization, Enerjisa Enerji brought together 750 students from 88 different universities, marking a large-scale journey of learning and development. The project, which will continue to expand in 2025, aims to raise awareness among young people regarding career opportunities in the energy sector, focusing on digital transformation and innovative applications. The ultimate goal is to inspire the youth, the most valuable treasure of our country, by transforming brain drain into brain gain.
In 2024, seven different sessions will be organized within the project, providing participants from various universities with striking insights on topics such as the fundamentals of entrepreneurship, trends in the energy sector, and digital transformation solutions. The content of the innovation and entrepreneurship training focused on customer-centricity, design thinking, and open innovation approaches, forming the foundation of the entrepreneurship ecosystem. The effects of technological developments, such as generative artificial intelligence, e-mobility, and sustainable energy technologies—which are among the new trends in the entrepreneurship ecosystem—were discussed, emphasizing innovation's contribution to economic growth, the formation of new markets, and employment.
The Söğütözü Customer Service Center has transformed into the Enerjisa Energy Technology and Impact Center. The host of the Technology and Impact Center is the customer service center that Enerjisa Enerji launched last year for the first time in Ankara Söğütözü with a new concept. The Söğütözü Customer Service Center, designed with a focus on technology, innovation, and sustainability, has gained a new title with the establishment of the Enerjisa Energy Technology and Impact Center. Enriched with inspirational spaces like the Energy Tunnel, the center has become a platform where young people can both closely engage with the industry and develop their projects by hosting innovation and entrepreneurship training.
During the intense training process at the Enerjisa Energy Technology and Impact Center, 750 students from 88 universities had the opportunity to enhance their sectoral knowledge and experience while developing their projects.
"We must find ways to transform our young people's high potential into high efficiency." The gathering of university students with Sabancı Holding and Enerjisa Enerji also included entrepreneurs who were previously supported by Enerjisa Enerji's technology and innovation programs, NAR and İVME. Commenting at the event where a large social network provided students access to professionals and their experiences, Enerjisa Enerji CEO Murat Pınar stated, “The path to elevating our country to the top ranks on the global stage in the fields of technology and innovation lies not only in following existing dynamics but also in ensuring that the ideas and talents that will shape the future remain in our country. We want our youth to harness their potential within our country. They are the driving force behind the essential transformation for our nation with their innovative thoughts and energy. Preventing brain drain and ensuring that our young people can harness their potential within our country is not only a social issue but also a critical step toward achieving our sustainable development goals.
As the energy sector, our responsibility is not limited to our financials and operational investments. We also act as a bridge to ensure that valuable projects and their creators stay in our country and contribute to economic growth, employment, and technological development here.

Empowering youth today. Expressing happiness in hosting the Enerjisa Energy Technology and Impact Center at the innovative Söğütözü Customer Service Center, Enerjisa Retail Sales Companies General Manager Ersin Esentürk stated, “When we decided on an innovative service center in the retail sales sector, our focus was on technology, innovation, sustainability, and, of course, a journey into the future. Our priority has always been to inspire the industry and our country by realizing the unimaginable, rather than being limited to what we have to do. Therefore, through initiatives like the Sabancı Youth Mobilization, we not only see our youth as future leaders but also empower and inspire them today with our center that will provide them with the sustainability mission and innovative spirit of Enerjisa. Digital Transformation and Youth in the Energy Sector. In line with Enerjisa Enerji's vision to support the innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem, the İVME and NAR programs have been implemented. The İVME Program offers product scaling, growth, and commercialization opportunities to innovative ventures that shape the future of the energy industry, while accelerating sectoral innovation in areas such as Renewable Energy Storage, Smart Grids, and E-Mobility. The NAR Program facilitates the investment and commercialization of creative ideas developed by Enerjisa employees. These programs, which have contributed to the success of over 10 ventures to date, continue to add value to the entrepreneurship ecosystem through financial support, mentorship, and collaboration opportunities.
