Bolat: We Continue to Support Steps That Will Strengthen Access to New Markets.
The Minister of Trade, Ömer Bolat, stated that they continue to support steps that will strengthen access to new markets.
In a statement regarding the meeting titled "Transportation Corridors and Transit Transport in the Century of Turkey," held under the auspices of TOBB, Bolat said: "We participated in the meeting titled 'Transportation Corridors and Transit Transport in the Century of Turkey' together with our Vice President Mr. Cevdet Yılmaz and our Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Mr. Abdulkadir Uraloğlu.
In today's world, where logistics and transportation have become strategic within the context of the global trade network, the Ministry of Trade continues to support steps that will strengthen access to new markets, which are of great importance for our trade, in close coordination with our relevant ministries, institutions, and business community.
In this framework, we are supporting our Turkish service sector in becoming a brand worldwide under the Service Turquality and Brand Support programs, while implementing various supports for our export family.
Similarly, we are taking decisions to support overseas logistics distribution networks to meet all our logistics needs for ensuring sustainable export growth in our foreign trade. As the Ministry of Trade, we are taking new steps to establish distribution networks in Africa and Asia while continuing our efforts to strengthen our position within global logistics corridors.
On this occasion, I would like to thank Mr. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, the President of TOBB, and the representatives of our logistics sector."
