Iron Ore Futures Close Higher in China

Futures iron ore contracts closed higher in daytime trading on China's Dalian Commodity Exchange (DCE). The most actively traded iron ore contract for May 2025 delivery gained 10 yuan (approximately $1.39) to close at 783 yuan per ton. On Tuesday, the total trading volume of the 12 iron ore futures contracts traded on the exchange was 307,005 lots, with a turnover of approximately 23.81 billion yuan.
