ASELSAN Plans to Invest an Additional $30 Million in FLIR Production Facility Over the Next 3 Years
Foreks - ASELSAN announced plans to invest an additional $30 million in its FLIR production facility over the next three years.
The statement made to KAP read as follows: "ASELSAN has achieved a significant capacity increase with the Electro-Optic FLIR Production Facility, established with a $40 million investment. This modern facility, with a manufacturing area of 7,000 square meters, stands out as having the largest clean room under one roof in Europe.
To respond to increasing demand, the facility will produce electro-optical systems developed for aerial vehicles, primarily focusing on the ASELFLIR, TOYGUN, and KARAT product families. One of the five main objectives of the aselsaneXt Transformation Program conducted at ASELSAN is to increase mass production. In this context, it is planned to invest an additional $30 million in the FLIR production facility over the next three years.
The mass production of these high-tech products, which have an export value exceeding $20,000 per kilogram, will enhance ASELSAN's global competitiveness, support qualified employment, and play a critical role in the Company’s sustainable growth objectives."
