The statement highlighted that this decision was made to reduce traffic congestion and effectively implement security measures. The decision applies to all public and private preschool education institutions, primary education schools, and secondary education institutions in Istanbul. These institutions will complete their educational activities by the specified time and will transition to an early holiday before the New Year. New Year Holiday and School Status
Since December 31, 2024, is not a public holiday across Turkey, schools and workplaces will continue their normal operating schedules.
