Turkey's Crude Oil Imports Plummeted 25.9% in October
In October, Turkey's crude oil imports decreased by 25.9% to 2 million 180 thousand 715 tons. The Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) published the "Oil Market Sector Report" for October. According to the announcement from EPDK, total oil product imports decreased by 7.82% to 3 million 912 thousand 199 tons. Diesel imports increased by 40.21%, reaching 1 million 298 thousand 162 tons.
Total refinery oil product production decreased by 24.64% to 2 million 599 thousand 291 tons. Diesel production fell by 36.6% to 1 million 12 thousand 155 tons, while gasoline production decreased by 15.64% to 438 thousand 345 tons, and aviation fuel production dropped by 6.81% to 483 thousand 818 tons.
- Domestic Sales and Exports - In the same month, total oil product sales increased by 10.87% to 2 million 971 thousand 303 tons. Gasoline sales rose by 30.92% to 427 thousand 710 tons, and diesel sales increased by 8.22% to 2 million 388 thousand 356 tons.
Gasoline exports decreased by 94.01% to 9 thousand 733 tons, while diesel exports fell by 90.92% to 25 thousand 951 tons. Aviation fuel exports increased by 0.33% to 481 thousand 780 tons, and marine fuel exports decreased by 12.95% to 84 thousand 922 tons. Thus, total exports remained at 947 thousand 436 tons, reflecting a decrease of 26.71%.
