Huawei Reduces Premium Device Prices During JD.com’s Super Brand Day

Investing.com -- Over the weekend, Huawei, a leading provider of global information and communication technology (ICT) infrastructure and smart devices, reduced the prices of high-end devices, including smartphones, on one of China's largest e-commerce platforms. Huawei is Apple's (NASDAQ:AAPL) biggest smartphone competitor in China, alongside Samsung Electronics.

The price reductions of up to 3,000 yuan ($411) were announced in a post on Huawei's official Weibo social media account on Sunday. The discounts were part of the "Super Brand Day" promotion on JD.com that started Saturday evening and ended at midnight on Sunday. During this promotion, Huawei offered price reductions on a range of products, including smartphones, headphones, watches, and tablets. Details of these promotions were disclosed in the Weibo post.
