Roche Has No Plans for Layoffs

In an interview with a Swiss newspaper, Roche's CEO Thomas Schinecker stated that the company is not planning any layoffs and that its business is healthy. When asked whether the company is considering layoffs during the interview with NZZ am Sonntag, Schinecker responded, "The number of employees is stable or slightly increasing. I can say for certain that we have a very healthy business. We do not have a growth problem," while also noting that Roche's research and development budget is stable and not growing.
