The Era of Plug&Charge Has Begun at Vestel's Charging Stations

Vestel Mobility (IS:VESTL) has integrated the Plug&Charge feature, developed by Vestel itself, into its AC charging stations to provide electric vehicle users with a faster and more convenient charging experience. With this innovation, users will achieve automatic identification and payment processes as soon as they connect their Plug&Charge-compatible vehicles to the charging station.

As Turkey's largest EVC manufacturer and exporter, Vestel Mobility has added the Plug&Charge capability to its AC charging stations to offer electric vehicle owners a quicker and safer charging experience. This feature allows the electric vehicle that supports Plug&Charge to automatically process the user's identification information and payment when connected to the charging station, enabling users to charge their vehicles securely and quickly without using a card or application.

Vestel Mobility has recently completed the necessary hardware and software infrastructure for the Plug&Charge feature. The company announced that it complies with global standards in electric vehicle charging through certification obtained from Hubject, a leading eRoaming and Plug&Charge platform. This innovative step is considered a significant advancement towards improving user experience.

In addition to electric vehicle charging stations, Vestel Mobility is also active in energy storage systems and automotive electronics. With the charging stations produced by Vestel Mobility, over 250,000 charging socket installations have been made in around 30 countries across Turkey and Europe.

As a leading player in the mobility sector, Vestel Mobility offers pre-sales and post-sales services in all 81 provinces of Turkey, leveraging its extensive sales and service network, along with its widespread charging station network and unique experience offerings.

The company is preparing to launch its 1MW output EVCs in 2025. Additionally, Vestel Mobility maintains its ambition in the fast charging sector with its DC series offering outputs of 60 kW, 160 kW, 240 kW, 320 kW, 400 kW, and 720 kW, which have generated significant interest domestically and have been exported for over a year due to their privileged position in global markets. DC charging stations significantly reduce waiting times with charging durations ranging from 10 to 45 minutes in publicly metered parking lots and electric fleet depots.
