Japan's Crude Steel Production Expected to Decline by 2.4% from January to March
Foreks - Japan's crude steel production is expected to decline by 2.4% in the January-March quarter compared to the previous year. The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry stated that, referring to an industry survey, the demand for steel products, including those for export, is anticipated to decrease by 0.5% to 19.09 million tons in the January-March period compared to the previous year. The ministry also noted that exports are expected to decrease by 0.4%.
