Japan Airlines Hit by Cyber Attack

Japan Airlines reported that it was targeted in a cyberattack on its systems this morning, which could affect both domestic and international flights. JAL stated that it identified the source of the system malfunction at 08:56 AM. The airline temporarily suspended ticket sales for domestic and international flights scheduled for departure on Thursday. In a post on its X account, the airline expressed, "We apologize for the inconvenience caused." Following the attack, shares of Japan Airlines fell by 1.4%.
