İş Bank Increases Its Stake in Şişe Cam

Isbank (ISCTR) has increased its dominance over Türkiye Şişe ve Cam Fabrikaları A.Ş. (SISE), raising its stake to 51.22%. This development emerged following a transaction completed on December 17, 2024. The bank conducted a share purchase with a nominal value of 5,000,000 TL. The buying process took place within a share price range of 40.98 - 41.30 TL.

With this latest acquisition, Isbank further strengthened its management control over Türkiye Şişe ve Cam Fabrikaları A.Ş. Isbank also reported that it retains control over the 0.05% stake owned by Anadolu Hayat Emeklilik A.Ş. This situation enables Isbank to hold a more effective position in Şişe Cam.

Current status of SISE shares:

SISE shares closed yesterday's trading down nearly 1.5% at 41.18 TL. After finding support in the 37 TL range in October, the stock increased by 14.5% to reach 43.4 TL until last week. However, this week, SISE shares have been under selling pressure, continuing to lose value by 4.4%. SISE has experienced almost a 10% loss in value in 2024, with the downward trend accelerating in the second half of the year.
