ProSieben in Talks to Sell Verivox to Moltiply Group, Reports Bloomberg

Investing.com -- According to a report by Bloomberg on Tuesday, German broadcaster ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE is in talks to sell the price comparison site Verivox to Italy-based Moltiply Group SpA. The move is part of ProSieben's strategy to divest non-core assets and focus on its main entertainment business, according to sources familiar with the matter. Bloomberg reports that an agreement between the two parties could be finalized as early as January. Additionally, it was noted that Verivox could be sold for over 250 million euros (263 million dollars). General Atlantic, a private equity firm that holds a minority stake in ProSieben’s subsidiary NuCom, also has a say in the matter. According to the report, the final decision will be shaped by their views as well.
