Pegasus Launches Direct Flights to Nice Starting Today

Forex - Turkey's second largest airport, Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen (ISG), has established its newest European connection with the charming city of Nice in southern France. Pegasus Airlines (IS:PGSUS) has commenced direct flights to Nice four times a week starting from December 16.

As one of the most popular stops on the French Riviera, Nice becomes the fifth city in France to be served directly by Pegasus Airlines from Sabiha Gökçen, following Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Paris-Orly, Lyon, and Marseille. From December 16, 2024, flights will operate between Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW) and Nice Airport (NCE) every week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays.

Flying directly to Nice is the best option for exploring southern France. The breathtaking beaches, historical richness, and cultural heritage of Nice, also known as the Côte D’Azur, provide easy access to many nearby destinations due to the city's location. With the Nice connection from Sabiha Gökçen, the glamorous atmosphere of Monaco and Monte Carlo, enchanting medieval villages like Eze, and the Cannes coast have all become accessible within a few hours.

Additionally, this connection allows travelers to stroll through lavender fields during spring and summer, immersing themselves in the mystical ambiance of Provence. Visitors can enjoy the stunning coastal road of Promenade Des Anglais, visit perfume factories in the nearby town of Grasse, and experience creating their own perfume.

Sabiha Gökçen, one of Turkey's fastest-growing airports, connects Istanbul's rich history and culture to a total of 141 destinations, including 38 domestic and 103 international routes across 51 countries, under the motto "The City’s Airport." With the Nice - France connection, Sabiha Gökçen has added a total of 16 new destinations to its network in 2024, which includes 15 international routes and 1 domestic route.
