Novo Nordisk to Invest $1.2 Billion in New Danish Factory
Danish pharmaceutical manufacturer Novo Nordisk announced that it will invest 8.5 billion kroner (1.20 billion USD) to establish a new facility in Odense, Denmark, for the production of medications for rare diseases. The company stated that the facility will include both a factory and a warehouse. "Designed to be modular and flexible, the facility will house multiple types of products for rare diseases such as hemophilia," it said. Construction work has already begun, with completion planned for 2027.
