Bayraktar: Our Strategic Partnership with Uzbekistan Holds Special Significance

Uzbekistan, which has recently made a significant leap in the energy sector, introduced its new investments. In the launch meeting, Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar emphasized the importance of international collaborations. Minister Bayraktar highlighted the significance of long-term energy partnerships, stating, "Our strategic partnership with Uzbekistan holds special importance. Uzbekistan plays a critical role in regional energy supply security with its rich energy resources and growing economy."

Minister Bayraktar participated in the Launching and Initiation of Major Projects in the Uzbek Energy Sector event via video conference.

Innovative Solutions
During the meeting that was also attended by Uzbekistan's President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Minister Bayraktar expressed, "With great excitement, we are witnessing the implementation of Uzbekistan's new energy projects. I sincerely believe that these projects, equipped with eco-friendly technologies and innovative solutions, will make significant contributions to Uzbekistan's energy security and overall economy."

At the end of his speech, Minister Bayraktar conveyed the greetings and congratulatory message of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to Mirziyoyev and the Uzbek people.

There is Also Turkish Investment
Among the facilities inaugurated in Uzbekistan is a Natural Gas Combined Cycle Power Plant built by a Turkish firm. The natural gas combined cycle plant has a total capacity of 430 MW and will operate for 25 years.
