Venture Global's Plaquemines Facility Moves Closer to First LNG Production

Venture Global LNG is making progress towards launching liquefied natural gas (LNG) production at its Plaquemines export facility in Louisiana this week. This will be the first new U.S. facility to produce supercooled gas in two years, surpassing Cheniere Energy's Corpus Christi mid-scale expansion project. Additionally, Venture Global will also initiate a commissioning period lasting up to two years, during which it will retain all revenue generated from shipments.
