Akiş GYO Recognized as One of the World's Top 500 Companies for Sustainable Growth
Akiş Gayrimenkul Yatırım Ortaklığı (Akiş GYO (IS:AKSGY)) has been included in the “World’s Best Companies in Sustainable Growth 2025” list, prepared in collaboration with TIME and Statista. Among the three Turkish companies on the list, Akiş GYO is the only representative from the real estate sector in Turkey.
Akiş GYO, a subsidiary of Akkök Holding in the real estate sector, has further added to its successes with its outstanding performance in sustainability and corporate governance. The company secured its position among the three Turkish firms featured in the list published by TIME magazine's leading statistics organization, Statista. By becoming the sole company from Turkey in the real estate sector on this list, Akiş GYO reinforced its special status in the industry. Ranking 379th among 500 companies globally, Akiş GYO qualified for the list by maintaining its robust financial structure while demonstrating successful performance in sustainability practices.
More than 5,000 companies were evaluated from over 30 countries. The “TIME & Statista World’s Best Companies in Sustainable Growth 2025” list, regarded as one of the world’s most prestigious listings, was created based on analyses in three main areas: revenue growth, financial stability, and environmental impact. Revenue growth was examined based on companies' performance from 2021 to 2023. Financial stability was assessed using established criteria such as the Piotroski F-Score and Altman Z-Score. Environmental impact was the primary focus of the analysis, taking into account the companies' absolute emissions, emission intensity, and sectoral comparisons.
