U.S. Weekly Coal Production Sees Decline

Forex - After a one-week pause, coal production in the United States has experienced a decline again. According to data released by the Energy Information Administration (EIA), coal production for the week ending November 30 decreased by 8.8% to stand at 8.9 million tons. Year-on-year, coal production showed a decline of 21.6%. East of the Mississippi River, production amounted to 3.9 million tons, while west of the river, it reached 5.0 million tons. Since the beginning of the year, production has decreased by 12.0%, amounting to 468.6 million tons.
