RENEWAL - Discussions Initiated for Forte to Execute Two Key Subprojects as a Subcontractor of Havelsan in Phase 1 of the TSK Cloud Computing System Project

In 2021, the foundation of the 'Ay Yıldız Project,' under which the Army, Air, and Naval Command structures will be consolidated, was laid. Referred to as Turkey's Pentagon, the Ay Yıldız Project is one of our country's most important and critical initiatives. The objective includes not only the construction but also the renewal of the information infrastructure and the establishment of a joint structure. Within this framework, the TSK Cloud Computing System Project is being executed by the Ministry of National Defense, with HAVELSAN designated as the Phase-1 main contractor according to the SSIK decision.

The project aims to create a dedicated cloud computing infrastructure, considering the up-to-date and cutting-edge technologies in line with the Turkish Armed Forces' (TSK) information needs, integrate information, and develop a system aligned with business processes. The TSK Cloud Computing System Project will enhance our country’s military capabilities in strategic, operational, and tactical domains, establishing a centralized, institutional, and dedicated cloud computing infrastructure equipped with the latest technologies.

FORTE’S SINGLE EFFECT AREA INFRASTRUCTURE AND DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION Forte Bilgi İletişim (IS:FORTE) Technologies and Defense Industry Inc. has initiated discussions to undertake the two most significant sub-projects, "Single Effect Area Infrastructure and Digital Transformation," as a HAVELSAN Subcontractor under the Phase-1 of the TSK Cloud Computing System Project.

The TSK Cloud Computing System Project is designed to create a rapid, flexible, accessible, and continuous dedicated cloud computing infrastructure primarily aimed at ensuring coherence within the MEBS functional area, considering the Turkish Armed Forces’ information needs with the latest and cutting-edge technologies. The project involves a system development that facilitates data flow between units and integrates information within the organization, in alignment with business processes.
