Which Stocks Gained the Most on Borsa Istanbul Today?

The BIST 100 index maintained its upward trend today.

The BIST 100 rose to 9,940 points during the day, moving primarily on the buying side. After a pullback to 9,868 points due to selling at this level, the index reversed direction in the last hour and continued to stay above 9,900 points with an almost 1% increase. While the rise in the BIST was dominated by the top 30 stocks, the index outside the BIST 100 remained flat today. Among the sub-sector indices, petrochemicals, trade, and food were the most in demand today, while sports, construction, and factoring negatively diverged from the market.

Overall, on Borsa Istanbul, FLAP, VKING, and AVTUR, which reached their ceiling price, were among the biggest gainers. On the other hand, IHLGM, IHEVA, and IHAAS shares dropped to their floor price, resulting in significant losses.

Current status in the domestic and foreign currency markets: In the domestic market, the dollar/TL is trading at 34.75, up by 0.1%, while the euro/TL has decreased by 0.15% to 36.48. Gold per gram is finding buyers at 2,962 TL, reflecting a partial increase of 0.2%.

In overseas markets, the indices in China and South Korea remained negative today. European indices showed a buyer-weighted movement towards the close, while the US stock market started the day positively.
