Mavi Named the 8th Best Company in the World for Sustainable Growth by TIME

Foreks - TIME, in collaboration with global data analysis platform Statista, published the research titled "World’s Best Companies - Sustainable Growth 2025." Mavi ranked 8th on the global list that includes the first 500 companies demonstrating superior success in environmental impact and responsibilities while maintaining strong financial performance. In the global ready-to-wear, footwear, and sportswear category, it became the industry leader with a score of 91.46. Companies that transparently shared their environmental data were evaluated based on revenue growth, financial stability, and environmental impacts.

TIME emphasized in its report: "There is a perception in the global business world that a choice must be made between financial success and sustainability. However, this list clearly shows that it is not necessarily the case, as companies of all sizes and from every sector can integrate sustainability into their business strategies to support growth and profitability. Seventy percent of the companies that made the ranking while maintaining stable growth also kept their environmental impacts under control and have annual revenues between 1 – 10 billion dollars. Meanwhile, some large global firms that are typically seen on such lists could not be included due to insufficient financial growth or excessive environmental impacts during the 2021 – 2023 period."

Mavi CEO Cüneyt Yavuz stated, "As a company focused on sustainable profitable growth, we are very happy and proud that our leading role in our sector and the steps we have taken in sustainability have carried us to the top of the global ready-to-wear industry beyond Turkey's borders. The recognition of our efforts by global platforms in such a prestigious list is a significant source of motivation for Mavi's future steps."

He added, "We create value that goes beyond operational efficiency. Through our All Blue strategy, which focuses on quality and sustainable growth, centering on People, Environment, Community, and Denim, we have made significant progress in integrating sustainability into our corporate culture, vision, business practices, products, and growth objectives. We continue to advance our efforts to minimize carbon emissions and our environmental impacts without slowing down. Our sustainability committee, consisting of 60 members, works daily for a more sustainable Mavi on topics such as Environment, Sustainable Products and R&D, Supply Chain, Employees, Corporate Governance-Risk, Customer, and Digitalization. Our All Blue collection, which continues to grow with innovative products each year, aims to increase the inclination towards conscious preferences in consumption habits."

Mavi is the first and only Turkish ready-to-wear company to join the CDP Global A list with a double A rating. For the past five years, Mavi has transparently disclosed its environmental data and has become the first and only Turkish ready-to-wear company to receive a double A rating from CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) for its Climate Change and Water Security programs, gaining entry into the CDP Global A list. The company's emission reduction targets, set in accordance with the Paris Agreement, were approved by the Science Based Targets initiative in the same year, marking a first for a Turkish ready-to-wear brand. Furthermore, Mavi's All Blue collections have been awarded the "Most Sustainable Collection" title five times by "The Rivet Awards," which recognizes the most innovative and creative brands adopting sustainable solutions in global denim fashion.
