The Environmental Impact Assessment Process for OYAK Cement's Waste-Derived Fuel Facility Acquisition and Capacity Increase Project, along with Biomass, Crushing Facility, and Raw Waste Stock Area Additions, Has Commenced

The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process has begun for the project planned by OYAK Cement's Adana Cement ATY Facility Branch, which includes the establishment of a Waste-Derived Fuel Facility, an increase in area and capacity, a Biomass (Corn Stalk, etc.) Crushing Facility, and the addition of a Raw ATY Stock Area.

In a statement on the website of the General Directorate of Environmental Impact Assessment Permits and Supervision, the following information was provided:

"The project planned by OYAK CEMENT FACTORIES INC. Adana Cement ATY Facility Branch, located in the Güzel Cumhuriyet Neighborhood, 16070 Block, 3 Parcel in the Yüreğir district of ADANA Province, has been examined in accordance with Article 16 of the Environmental Impact Assessment Regulation, and the EIA process related to the project has commenced."
