Competition Authority Accepts "Guidelines on Violations of Competition in Labor Markets"
The Guidelines on Competition Violations in Labor Markets were accepted by the Competition Board on November 21, 2024, under the decision number 24-49/1087-RM(4).
In a statement made by the Competition Board, it was mentioned: "A draft of the Guidelines on Competition Violations in Labor Markets has been prepared to ensure legal certainty and predictability under Law No. 4054 on the Protection of Competition. This draft has been submitted to the public for feedback in accordance with the Competition Board's decision dated September 12, 2024, with decision number 24-37/888-M.
The opinions submitted by universities, civil society organizations, enterprises, professional associations, law firms, lawyers, and freelancers have been carefully examined and incorporated into the draft Guidelines.
In this context, the revised draft Guidelines were discussed during the session of the Competition Board on November 21, 2024, and they were accepted as the Guidelines on Competition Violations in Labor Markets under decision number 24-49/1087-RM(4).
The principles introduced by the Guidelines will be addressed in a webinar scheduled to take place on December 13, 2024, from 14:00 to 15:30."
