In November, Domestic Producer Price Index Increased by 0.66% Monthly and 29.47% Annually

Forex - The Producer Price Index (PPI) for November 2024 (2003=100) showed an increase of 0.66% compared to the previous month, a 28.01% increase compared to December of the previous year, a 29.47% increase compared to the same month of the previous year, and a 42.60% increase based on twelve-month averages.

PPI Annual Change Rate (%), November 2024: According to the announcement made by the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), the annual PPI in manufacturing products increased by 31.31%. Annual changes in four sectors of the industry were as follows: a 38.01% increase in mining and quarrying, a 31.31% increase in manufacturing, a 4.65% increase in electricity and gas production and distribution, and a 42.11% increase in water supply. Annual changes in main industry groups were recorded as follows: a 29.40% increase in intermediate goods, a 37.15% increase in durable consumer goods, a 40.30% increase in non-durable consumer goods, an 8.15% increase in energy, and a 30.94% increase in capital goods.

Monthly changes in four sectors of the industry were as follows: a 1.15% increase in mining and quarrying, a 1.07% increase in manufacturing, a 3.58% decrease in electricity and gas production and distribution, and a 1.14% increase in water supply. Monthly changes in main industry groups were recorded as follows: a 0.64% increase in intermediate goods, a 1.0% increase in durable consumer goods, a 2.21% increase in non-durable consumer goods, a 2.32% decrease in energy, and a 0.62% increase in capital goods.
