Aytaç Gıda Launches 6 MWp Land-Based Solar Power Plant in Çankırı Çerkeş

Foreks - Aytaç Gıda, a subsidiary of Yıldız Holding, has commissioned a 6 MWp land-based Solar Energy Plant (GEP) in Çankırı Çerkeş. The plant, constructed in collaboration with Chint Green Energy under a Build-Operate model, will enable Aytaç Gıda to meet all its electricity consumption from renewable energy sources.

Yıldız Holding continues its green transformation investments across all its companies as part of its sustainability efforts, driven by the "This World is Ours" philosophy and its "Waste-Free Company" business model. With the commissioning of the Solar Energy Plant on approximately 75,000 square meters of its factory land in Çankırı Çerkeş, Aytaç Gıda will supply all of the electricity needs of the production facility from renewable energy sources.

The 6 MWp land-based Solar Energy Plant project, implemented in cooperation with Chint Green Energy under the Build-Operate model, aims to prevent approximately 5,500 tons of carbon emissions per year.
